Kean University, B.A. Early Childhood Education 1999, GPA: 3.12 Certified Teacher. While at Kean I had extensive training in the classroom that consisted of a Junior and sophomore field experience in the classroom. During my junior field experience, I had to spend time with a teacher who taught three and four year olds for four months. My sophomore field experience consisted of me observing teachers in and urban and suburban school. And last but not least my senior student teaching which was the best time in my teaching career. I was paired with a first grade teacher. I learned so much from her and I was blessed to be surrounded my a wonderful bunch of kids, staff, and an awesome university supervisor!!
Experience
I am a Certified Elementary Education teacher. I taught Pre-k, third and fourth in the public school system for five years. I resigned several years ago to stay at home with my children who I currently home school. Two years ago I was a supervisor in an after- school program. I had to oversee homework time, gym time, science experiments ,arts and crafts. I love working with the children and get excited when I see them working hard and grasping the material.

Hobbies
As a mom of five my hobbies revolve around my kids. I love going to the zoo, The Liberty Science Center and the Natural Museum of History. In the summertime, we frequent the beach and amusement parks. Locally, we go for nature walks to observe the world around us. I like to travel. I've been to Mexico, Aruba, Florida, Virginia, and Washington. One day I hope to visit China!!!
